AEBS+NO IACV+ WINTER = TEH DEVIL!
So i put the AEBS manifold on in april which doesnt call for the use of the cold air idle valve.... Now that its october and getting cold...i think i'm in trouble. Starting my car in the mornings is silly...
What can i do short of putting the stock pig back on?

Could you possibly drill holes in your IM to mount it up and then just run the lines through it?

eh...ima dumbass. I meant the FICV ( fast idle control valve) which raises the idle when the motor is cold. I guess on most throttle bodies it part of the TB, but on mine it bolts to the manifold under the TB.

couldnt you just raise the rpms w/ your foot for a little bit or better yet just wait a little longer for it to warm up. i'd rather my car not have that, no sense in letting the engine sit at like 1500 or so when its cold, just so it'll warm up faster.

Isn't that where most fast idle valves go?

yeah i'm stuck in ny too...
i have a b16a and still using that TB. I guess i gotta find out if ITR throttle bodies have the ficv mounted to them...because i need to upgrade to a 65mm+ anyhow.

B16 tb has a Fast Idle valve also.. I dont know why you wouldnt have one..
Anyway if you drive your car without reving it above 3k it will warm up pretty quickly.
I almost never wait for my car to warm up before taking it down the street. After a couple of blocks its all warm and ready to rev.

I'm going through the same exact problem on my JDM B16A. Best thing to do would be to get a cheap OBD1 60mm LS, GSR or USDM B16A TB and have it ported by Maxbore to 64mm and tapered to match the 65mm inlet of the AEBS. From what I gather all OBD1 TB's should have the FITV on the bottom of the throttlebody. Just make sure it's 60mm.
