Default Acura Vigor???

I know that this doesn't belong here but I don't know where to post it. I am looking at buying a 93 Vigor with a 2.5l inline 5cylinder. I know nothing about these so if anyone has any info on them give me a shout. I wan't to know how hard it is to replace the clutch in these and if you need any special tools to do so. Thanks guys. Again sorry for the placement.

Should be pretty straight forward, just like any other clutch swap on any car.

The wife has one. It's nice. The slant 5 is strange.... and the oil filter is a ***** to get to. It has some good get-up for a heavy car. Uses the same front calipers as an ITR. It has the smallest glovebox ever and although it is a big car, nothing fits inside.

I had a 92 Vigor about 6-7 years ago. I loved that car! I never had to work on it though so I am no help in that area. I know when I had mine I couldn't find after market parts and the ones that were out there were outrageously priced. Vigors may be more desirable now. Good luck!

Its a slant five honda dude! Nothing about it is like any other clutch swap. And the engine runs from firewall to radiator support and it is front wheel drive.

ok honda bro, the majority of clutch swaps on cars truck vans whatever, all have just about the same steps. Removval of the tranny. so unless your clutch is in your glove box and the tranny is mounted on the fender, i dont think there should be any problems. Damn 06 members

Its not much help but I had to pull the same engine out of an Inspire once, it really wasnt fun cuz its a weird engine, it was an auto though, and I never removed the tranny from the engine, just pulled the whole lot so the bodyman could paint everything in there..

They're nice cars, have good power, and are pretty fast..but keep an eye on the temp level Ive seen several overheat and melt the distributor cap on the back, which is a pain cuz its right by the firewall..also the distributor seals leak oil onto the exhaust..

GL with it though
