accident in mass... i was run off the road
I was in a car accident yesterday and probably totalled my Civic. I have had it for about 5yrs now, and put well over 100,000 miles on it. The car had 178k on it and I was planning on putting a whole lot more.
Then a guy yesterday in his town car wasn't looking and started getting over into my lane causing me to swerve and have to get on the brakes. All 4 wheels locked up (the roads were wet) and I went up a curb and took out a light pole on rt18 and it crashed down on the roof of my car.
Today I am going over to pull some of the stuff out of the car. Everyone keeps telling me I am lucky to be alive.
This is all that happened to the front bumper that took out the pole. The pole was sheared off its base.

IMO you should of let the town car hit you, Because now his insurance won't pay for your damage. Because he didn't hit you. Oh well it's over and your still alive.

my car was no where that bad and they totaled out my car. they said the value was 4200 for the car and gave me a 1000 cuz i had a gsr in mine. the bill so far to fix the car right now is about 6000 buck. But there are some tricks to squeeze more money out the insrance though.
