Default 99 Si Throttle position sensor major HELP!!

Hey guys, thanks in advance.
Jus last night I popped my hood to let her cool off after driving it pretty hard.
Then I noticed that my sensor was unhooked, so I plugged it back in, this I never noticed before, very odd.
This morning I started her up and she idled very oddly, drove it and it was jus terrible, I couldnt pass 3k without her bouncing off the road, my intake pressure was in the positives and she stalled everywhere and anywhere. I then remembered the TPS, so I went back home and reseted the ECU but still no luck. So I jus unhooked the sensor and she was back to her old self again.
BUT even though she's back all these questions are rising.....
I have a really sensitive set-up:
Jun Stage 3
JUN valve springs/retainers
JUN Flywheel
JUN type3 ECU
ACT 2600 clutch
Skunk2 Intake manifold
VAFC /w setting
OBD1 conversion
CTR header
AEM CAI
DC SPorts Exhaust

What can the problem be?
Is the sensor messed up?
The OBD1 conversion bypassing the sensor already?
Is it something to do with my Skunk manifold?
Any idea would help thanks again!!!!

Your car should run fine with the TPS unhooked. When mine was acting up I would just unplug it and besides a slightly higher idle it drove normal. If it is not calibrated or it is bad then it will act up when plugged in. Try another one if you haven't already or have the one on the car calibrated and see if it helps. You should have a CEL though either way.

Anyone else have an input on this. TPS unhooked I know it will run fine, but will the OBD1 bypass this sensor???

No, you need the TPS and the ECU will not bypass it.

You stated you can run fine with no TPS then u said you have to hook it up? Durrr, wha? What good is a TPS if you can't even hook it in.

TPS tells your ecu how much fuel to dump into your car according to what percent throttle you are at... so if its set wrong, you could be dumping tons of unnecessary fuel into your motor....

Your car will run fine because the ECU compensates for the loss of your TPS and runs off of a base setting which is not optimal but will still run fine. They put it there for a reason so you should find out what the problem is and fix it. I'll ask again, you have a check engine light right??

http://www.c-speedracing.com/faq/06.php

This explains the way to check your ECU code. It also has a list of codes so you know what is wrong and where to go from there.

BTW, did you have a shop do the work or did you buy it from another person this way?

My ECU is not pullin any codes out.
I did buy this car with internals in it but I did the JUN ECU/OBD1/VAFC myself, i bought it from him and he's a really legit guy, I have no doubt that the items he sold me are faulty, how does this explain what is wrong when we know that the sensor is not plugged in.
