Default 99 si and 00 si?

Sorry I'm new to the si scene... What if there are any, the differences of the 99 si and the 00 si? Are they both 2.0l's? =/

No differences. Both had a 1.6L DOHC VTEC engine (B16A2).

99-00 Si's were Milano Red, Flamenco Black Pearl, or Electron Blue Pearl. Vogue Silver Metallic was offered to Canadian 99-00 SiR's.

Ok, I'm getting a 99 si with 69k miles in black for really cheap

Just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything big in difference.

Everything is stock, and he has aem intake that he can give me if I purchase the car.

thanks again.

2 small differences i noticed was that in 2000 they came stock with the child safety hooks for the back seat . in 2000 the large cup holder ring was included unlike 99 when it was an option for some dumb reason

Thats that craigslist car. I'd be a little skeptical buying that. As the old saying goes.. "If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is" That guy wants right around 4k for that perfect si right? Double tripple check everything. Hate to hear you come back and say you're out 4k cuz you just bought a stolen car or something..

well for the question this is what i know. all the 99 si don't come with a rear spoiler, it was an option. the 2000 si came with the spoiler standard as so as the cup holder thing and the child safty hooks. other than that the car is exactly the same.

Wasn't the spoiler optional on the 00 too? Mine didn't come with one?

make sure your buying a si, and not a ex with a b16 in it. check the vin, a EX will say EJ, and a SI will say EM

The 2000 model came with all of the factory options, while the '99 came with none of the factory options.

By factory options you mean what? The cars are identical.

Off the top of my head I can only think of one difference between the 2. The 99 rear deck lid had little plugs on it and the 00 had the things for a baby car seat..
