99 EM1 AC reinstall
I recently bought a 99 si and it had the ac completely removed, I'm not worried about using a different series compressor I can buy a new compressor but d series are 100 times more common at wrecking yards then b. So I was wondering what can I pull at a wrecking yard off of a d series as far as lines, condenser etc to use for cheap instead of buying everything new

What do you mean completely removed? Be specific in what you don't have and what you do have.. I hear completely and I'm thinking lines evaporator box under the dash, fuses, relays and controls are all removed.
I've done a lot of a/c so I can help you through this one if you'd like.

Re: 99 EM1 AC reinstall
You'll need an evaporator too under the dash.. It's been open so long that it prolly can't be cleaned. That being said any 96-00 lines, condenser, fan should work. i just checked compressors and they all seem to be the same through those years too. So the only specific part you may need would be the SI mount for the compressor itself.. And even then, it may be the same. Try to find a part out or donor car. Flush everything used with carb cleaner until it runs out clean. Grab the evaporator box from under the dash too.. Ideally a sealed system would be excellent! But in that's a best case. Once everything has been cleaned, seal it until you get ready to use it. Use a new o ring for every sealed joint. Once it's all reinstalled take it to a competent shop and pay them for a vacuum check. It's worth it, bc you don't want to fill it yourslelf only to have it all leak out. If the vacuum check is good, then fill it how you want. Make sure you put fresh oil in the compressor too.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Re: 99 EM1 AC reinstall
'99 - '00 Si compressor and compressor bracket are different than all other '96 - '00 Civics. The compressor might be the same as a '94 - '01 Integra through.
You can use the hard lines, evaporator core, condenser etc from any '96 - '00 Civic. Flex lines from the compressor may be specific to the EM1 since the compressor is different, check part numbers to be sure.
