99 ek hatch motor problems.
So I got this car about a month ago and its a bone stock EK hatchback. Ive been daily driving it for the whole time now just for the gas millage. And I went to the gym last night and came back woke up the next morning and my car would turn over but it wouldn't start.
Thought that was strange so I kept trying and nothing so I though maybe my car is out of gas maybe my gas gauge is broken got gas and put it in and still nothing. So I tried to compression start it (push start) and nothing all of a sudden I try cranking it one more time and now the car sounds like it has NO compression at all. Strange I thought.
Tried to check if the timing was off at all and nothing. I think the motor is dead but I dont want to spend 500 on another motor. Checking if anyone knows anything. Thanks in advance

We could help you out alot easier if we had more info, can you hear your fuel pump kick on? is your distributor getting power? are you getting spark? is your timing belt broken?
