99 Civic struts
Hello there looking for some help since i am new to the Honda sence. I have a 99 civic sedan and I was given these looks like stock struts with a sleeve attached and a spring and was told they were for my car. After researching the part number on the shock they are for and integra but anyways I have already ordered Ebachi sportline springs and KYB struts and was going to just run that set up or do you guys think I should use the sleeve and spring and mount to my new KYB struts. I use it only as my daily driver to work 90 miles each way all freeway but I like to have some fun and sometimes take up some mountain roads. Please let me know your suggestions. Does anyone know what kind of springs these are?

Re: 99 Civic struts
Those look to be random sleeves probably bought on eBay....and stock shocks. Meh. Sell them locally. You may get a few bucks.
If you can, I'd cancel those sportlines and swap them for prokits if you absolutely want springs and shocks for some crazy reason. I used to commute about 80-100 miles a day in my civic. Sportlines ride so badly. They're WAY too low and soft for shocks like KYB replacements.
Also FYI...Tein makes a great coilover for that car for like $500 that rides fantastic. I can't really see many (any?) good reasons for buying unmatched springs and shocks when a systemized coilover option exists.
