if you're putting that 97 gs-r motor into your 99 car then yes. Just wires up all the sensors that need to be wires and extend the wires that are too short.

it wouldn't actually make everything easier if you were to use a 99-00 si harness. you would have to pull the whole entire harness out...which i heard was a b*Tch...and put it back in...
just do what lsvtecracer has posted up....reuse your stock harness, extend whatever plugs you need and add what you need. it really isn't that hard. pretty much plug and play...
good luck on your swap!!!
