Default 99 Civic EX

I recently put on my factory struts and shocks on my civic that I've had since I changed my suspension a few years ago. After puting everything on and getting the car aligned, the front end of my car sits slightly higher, making a noticable difference. I can't figure out why it would do that since it wasn't like that since I first purchased the car. My only guess is the springs are reversed but im not sure if they would even fit opposite ways. Any suggestions?
