I have a quick question in regards to the gauge clusters that come in a 99-00 civic ex d16y8. Being that its an A/T and I am getting ready to do a manual swap. Instead of swapping out the entire gauge cluster and spending extra money couldn't I swap out the indivual cluster piece and take out the bulbs that normally illuminate the gear selector indicator? Thanks

yes. or you could just leave it. the gear indicator will no longer light up after the swap
