99-00 si radio into 99 dx hatch
how would you go about putting a 00 si radio into a 99 dx hatch? does the 99 dx harness plug into the si radio? or will i need a si harness

They are the same. The Si radio is nothing more than the 99-00 radios, but with an amber glow instead of green.

the dx hatch only has am/fm...the si radio has cd player. anyone know if i can plug the 99 dx harness right into the si radio?

i have been a installer for almost 8 years. all of the hondas/acuras from 92-up are all the same. note: the 96-98 ex model had the power door locks wired through the factory radio. it will have a green plug into the back of the oe radio. do not remove this plug cause you will have to go to honda to have it reset. metra makes a wiring harness for this problem. other than those years you will be okay.
