99/00 OEM fog light install in a 96
Got my OEM fog lights today...woot!
I have a 96 DX with a 2000 front end. My question is, can I follow the directions for the 99/00 civic? Are all the same factory plugs going to be there, or will I have to do a 'custom' install?
Thanks

i'd say the wire from the cabin to the engine bay for the positive foglight leads is there, and the trigger and feed circuits are in the cabin, but i'd be surprised if all the plugs are the same and it all matched right up.try finding the instructions for 96-98 foglights and compare.

Ok, done....and I must say that was the easiest install I've ever done of anything!! Gotta love OEM goodness!!
the 96-98 install is exactly the same as 99-00. The plugs and everything else are the same. Hope this helps anyone else...
Here is a pic...sorry for the quality, it was getting dark...hope to have some good quality pics up soon..

Thanks for the bulb info......what trouble did you have? was it an OEM fog light kit? I had no problems with the install....

For sure thats the easiest way...find the marks on the back side of the bumper and start pilot holes. Then use a 40mm hole saw (I used 1.5" which is pretty close to 40mm) then use a dremel to finish cutting it out. I also used a file to smooth everything out, although you dont really need to since its completely covered anyway.
Here are the instructions I used:

Hope that helps

they claimed oem but when i opened the box it didnt say for 92-25 oem kit it just said 92 civic fog light kit. we had to cut into the bumper brakets and remove some impact spacers or something it was originally an hour 1/2 job that turned into 71/2 hours. freaking shitttyyyy. they turned out good tho with fabrications.
ebay sucks
