Re: 99-00 Civic Si factory Front Strut bar anygood? (Gump)
really, so is it worth it for that price??
Since it's made from factory honda, it should fit perfectly & be better than some generic no name metal strut bars right?
Will it improve the stiffness of the suspension in the front?

You have to drill holes for all civics except for the SI.
It's not the stiffest thing out there, but it works.

WILL the factory Si Front strut bar fit on my civic?
I have a 99 civic 4 door
Can I just use the bolts originally from the "shock tower" area and use those to bolt onto the Si strut bar? Will it work? So no drilling?

If the holes are already drilled there is no drilling. My g/fs 99 ex coupe doesn't have the holes so i don't know if your car has them. I'm guessing not? Make sure you buy SS hardware.

So on a 99 non-Si civic, will the 99-00 Si Front upper strut bar fit and bolt directly in there without drilling?

SI's dont have holes either. there are studs/bolts welded in place.

I realize this fella is probably talking about the 96-2000's, but "You have to drill holes for all civics except for the SI." is wrong.
