99-00 Civic sunshade won't close or becomes jammed.
Hello HT Members,
Just recently on my 99 em1 I have encountered a problem with the moon roof sunshade panel. For some strange reason when the moon roof fully retracts open it slides back and guides the sunshade back as normal. Well when the moon roof closes I have to grab the handle on the sunshade and pull if forward. The problem is, that the sunshade will only go about halfway and then I need to tug and pull on it in order to close it. On most civics, preludes, and others to mention it was an easy slide forward motion. I did some research, looked at service manuals, and I'm coming to the conclusion that I might have to remove all the plastic interior pieces and drop the headliner just to gain access to the issue. Anyone have similar problems and if so any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

I am not 100% sure but I think that cover is actually on the sunroof itself not on the interior trim, so if by chance you need to access it then you would need to drop the interior.
Before that why not open the sunroof and check the path that it takes for anything in the way?
