99-00 Civic Si Proportion Valve: Different part numbers for 1999 & 2000 models?
I will be doing a 5 lug conversion, so I plan to use the proportioning valve off a 99-00 Civic Si, but I noticed that the 99 model has a different part number from the 00 model on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com . I know for sure that neither the 99 or 00 Si have ABS and I believe that their braking systems are identical. Are they really different or is it a mistake on their part? If they are different, how are they different and which one should I get?
1999 Civic Si: Part #22522 - $118.01
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...y5=BRAKE+LINES
2000 Civic Si: Part #220473 - $69.47
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...y5=BRAKE+LINES
Thanks!

www.usahondapartsdirect.com doesn't list part numbers, but they list the same price for '99 and '00 parts. You're right about no US '99 or '00 Si having ABS. I'm betting they're the same part... nothing else functional changed between '99 and '00, so proportioning shouldn't change. Can't explain the difference in prices on the other site though.

ok i know i'm bring this back but i have been gone a while. no for use in a eg hatch you need a different kind of valve. check yours and make sure it doesn't say 4040 on it. if not you will need a valve out a 94+ teg. these have 4040 stamped on it.
