Default 99-00 Civic Si Owners!!!!

I'm tryin to choose an exhaust system for the car i am buying. Post up some pics of your exhaust on your car and also tell me what you think about the performance of your system. I want something that looks nice but most importantly, will also free up some hp Help me out

I had a Greddy Evo on my Si back in the day...always liked that exhaust. Sounded and looked good (to me anyway). Exhaust ain't gonna do much of antyhing for power unless it's currently the bottle neck in your setup.

Yeah exhausts dont actually add horsepower, they just free up horsepower that your motor is already making. With that said I vote for the N1 aswell but they are a touch on the loud assed side.

Are you tryin to say that dyno graphs are bullshit? What is the purpose of an aftermarket exhaust then? Don't get me wrong, i'm not tryin to be a dick.

Ok i understand that, but what i'm getting at is that the less restrictive the exhaust is the more power the motor can produce. I want to decide on a nice lookin exhaust which will also free up some hp.

any 2.25" exhaust with a straight through muffler will free up a good ammount of power, dont want to go any larger than that unless you have a turbo or 2.0L or larger, otherwise you'll lose massive low end power, and the Si already has no torque as it is. i'd say Apex N1 or GReddy SP2 or EVO, theyre all pretty good looking. when i had my Si i was waiting for the SP2 to come out because it's stealthy looking and has a straight through muffler.

Yea.. magnaflow seems nice. I got the Tanabe Racing Medalion on my 2000 Si, i like it and all, but it's too damn loud. I put the silencer on there, it's not as loud but it bottles it back up, not as much airflow.

Spoon N1, and I love it, I gotta get a 2.5" b-pipe before I see any gains though.

Heard very good things about this exhuast. I hate loud exhausts and this seems to be recommended if you want something quieter. Does anyone happen to have pic they can post of what the world sport looks like. Ill do a search as well, but if you wanna show off your **** post a pic.
