99-00 civic ex Help w ECU Wiring
i need help
i pretty much bought a shell that needs work
last owner said car used to be turbo. oil pan was tapped.
well got a p2p ecu for the car
P2P : 96+ OBD-2 Civic EX Coupe
but for some odd reason the only 2 plugs goes in but the not the 3 third one
i dont know if previous owner cut the original plug please let me know. i got pictures
909 538 0689 if anyone can call or message me to let know whats the problem. i want to get this car started in 3 days

the only way to fix the third plug that i know of is to re-wire the whole car that is what i am doing i put a b16a2 in a 97 civic and the b16 is a obd2b harness and the dash wiring is obd2a wiring

Again the plug thats missing is part of the underdash harness. Either you have no underdash harness, or a '96 - '98 underdash harness. The underdash harness must match the engine harness.

hahaahah dude you need to get an ecu from the 99-00 civic ex...don't even bother doing a harness conversion cause that is such a headache. sell your 96 ecu and just get the 99-00 civic ex ecu. it will plug and play

That is a '99 - '00 EX ECU. Its also a '99 - '00 Engine harness, the problem is the underdash harness.
