99-00 civic carbon fiber hood question
Has anyone ever painted their cf hood.
What is involved?
Also have holes drilled for hood pins.
Dont want the hood pins anymore.
Want to repair holes or get black pins or locks
Has any ever done this.

just like regular fiberglass repair, its just carbon, and for painting regular paint prep. like 600 grit sand paper. primer, paint... that should stick to it...

Also, my hoods fram doesnt stick to the back of the hood. It is hard to expain but the edges of the frame are the only thing holding the carbon fiber hood together. It is also very limp and wobbly. Not stiff like my friends hood.
