You sure your valvetrain isn't just chattering from loose valve lash?

does anyone know how to fix this problem ?

That seems to be the issue. I've already merged another thread of his. I'll PM him, but please try to keep the flaming to a minimum.

BTW, to answer the original question, you would need to perform a valve adjustment. Pdiggitydogg provided a link in your other thread: http://www.georgebelton.com/6g...x.php

thanks bud, but like i said in one of the other posts i am not sure if i used the right size feeler gauge, and if that was causing the problem ? the gauges i used measure (for the intake .008 SAE - .203mm) for the exhaust (.010SAE - .254mm) please let me know if you think i should return these gauges and try to adjust the valves again to see if thay will get rid of the knocking, thanks

The feeler gauges you used should provide the proper results.

Did you make sure that the engine was completely cold before performing the adjustment?

i thought it was cold, well to be honest it was kinda warm...why would that cause a problem ? if it was warm ?

well it's been sitting outside since yesterday , do you think i should try to re-adjust them again ? cuz after the last adjustment i got some of the power back..and it stopped stalling as well.

Yes. Ideally, the car should sit over-night before doing the valve adjustment. It should be completely cold, because metal expands when warm/hot and the clearances will change.
