98 Civic lx seden automatic for 7000?
#1
Would you buy this car?
I have located an 1998 Civic lx in the newspaper. It is four doors, automatic tran. with 36,000 miles. Color is red. Has been in an accident, but everything is repaired with oem parts. Seller is asking $7000 firm. Interior of car is excellent. The exterior is red with just a few dings. Nothing major. It has just been repainted stock red. Is this car worth it?
Yes, I know it's an automatic, but my dad won't buy a car that he can't drive himself. He does not want to drive a stick. The car will be a daily beater and stay stock. Thanks in advance.

Re: 98 Civic lx seden automatic for 7000? (CereaLand)
in the bay area, $7000 is a pretty good deal for a 98 civic lx. the normal price in the bay area seems to float at and above $8000.
note: the civics i looked at were from http://www.craigslist.org/sfo/car/ and were not in accidents. also, car prices in california are usually above the norm.
hope it helps.
