98 Civic/B18b swap dies? while driving.
well, i start driving to work this morning and all of a sudden the engine cuts off, then i down shift to 4th gear then the engine cuts back on. off and on it will cut off then all i do is keep down shifting then the car turns back on. so if any one here has an idea of what the hell is going on please help.

1998 civic ek hatch, with b18b motor. new fuel pump , my friend says may be ignition problem but cant seem to find where the main relay is and is ig 1 under the fuse box a main relay or just ignition fuse?

I had a similar problem once was due to bad ground wire.
Ignition coil sounds like a possible one.
I'd say it sounds electrical, but I'm no mechanic.

The ICM is inside the distributor and tells the coil when to release its high voltage spark. Have an auto parts store test it. A bad ICM is a common cause of stalling.
