97 JDM ITR Cluster into 99 DX Problems
I have followed the FAQ and I am pretty good at following wiring diagrams but there are several issues I am having. All warning lights are operating properly but the only gauge that is working properly is the tach! Fuel Gauge and Temp are pegged all the way forward and the speedo works kind of. I have two clusters to try and both do the same thing. Rewire it back to stock and put the stock cluster back in and everything works as it should. Its very confusing. Seems like there is a lot of messed up wiring but I cannot see anywhere that anyone has messed with it. Also Both turn signals are lit up dim but do flash correctly when used and when using the right turn signal the temp and tach bounce from on to off. 3 different people helped with this and we have used two different clusters with the same effect. Only difference is that the one I want is the JDM cluster which is a 97 and the other is a 97 LS cluster. And the one last thing is that I have 2 solid yellow wires but both diagrams show only one yellow. No motor swap or anything has ever been done!
Edit: Only thing that hasn't been done is swapping the SRS wires but I have left that unplugged or plugged in makes no difference

I have ready many and it says the JDM ITR cluster can use the 94-97 integra diagram. Mine is a 96 spec I guess cause of the catalytic converter light in the upper left

Re: 97 JDM ITR Cluster into 99 DX Problems
Figured it out! From taking the pins in and out many times some of them were shallow in the connector so they were not making contact with the board. Mainly the ground! One last question is I filled up my tank and it only shows just above 1/2 tank on the gauge. Is that a resistance problem with the stock civic sending unit or do you reset the needle on the gauge? I though I had read somewhere about that but cannot seem to find it again.
