Default 97 Honda civic HX w/ D15 vtec What cap/rotor?

I bought a 97 honda civic HX recently. My friend was replacing the clutch/flywheel for me and he looked at my cap and rotor and it was horrible so i bought a new one. He went to put it on and it wasnt right. He looked @ the engine code it was a D15B and its vtec.. the #'s on the block are 2830383.
It is weird though because I am getting about 40-45 MPG so I was pretty sure it was the stock motor. Guess I should have looked closer though.

Any help would be appreciated need to get this running costs me about $25 a day to drive my truck back and forth to work.

HX's are vtec too, I am not sure how they are stamped though.

its suppose to be a D16Y8 or something like that whatever the Vtec-E engine is. But it has a D15B w/ Vtec.

I bought the cap/rotor for my car but its not right just need to figure out how to get the right one.

The hx is supposed to be a d16y5

I wonder if you have a JDM engine then?
