97 hatch motor swap coolant problems
Well i put a d15b bottom end and a z6 head. I wired the fan to automatically come on when the key is on the second position so thats not the culprit. I added coolant into but i see there is some sort of bolt on the z6 head it self im guessing its the bleeder for coolant. What is the procedure to bleed this? Does anyone know what would be the culprut. Could it be the water pump how could i determine that. Or do you think its the thermostat?

The car doesnt over heat while its idleing and i was driving it around town the other day seemed fine . When i got onto the highway it was a different story temperature spiked up almost to hot when i got off the highway it seemed to come down. I was getting on it on the highway and around town cause i was having coolant issures with the fan but the fan is hardwired what do you guys think?

Stuck thermostat or your radiator is clogged up. You should really try to bleed out the air. Park on a slight incline, when your engine is cold, take off the rad cap, set heater to high, and let it idle for 20 to 30 minutes. Add coolant if you're low.

I took my radiator cap off the radiator and started up the car. As soon as i started up the car coolant shot clear over my hood and onto my windsheild. What the hell is going on? Checked the dip stick no coolant. Could this be a thermostat problem.
I drove it around the block for five mins got almost have halfway on the temperature needle so i decide to pull into the driveway and let it idle . The car must have been running for 15-20 mins and nothing sat at halfway. I was thinking about taking it on the highway again but there digging it up and there is no emergency pull offs. Any ideas about this coolant shooting out.

Well I don't know what to tell u because that is the only way u can get compresstion in the coolant system, that or a cracked sleeve. That's what's causing it to shoot out like u said, did u have the head resurfaced and the blocks deck checked b4 u put the new HG on?
