Hey everyone, first time poster, been lurking around for a month or two now though. So my friend is gifting me his non working 97 Civic and I'm pretty sure the reason it's not working is because the timing belt must have slipped. It ran rough, idled weird and then when he got to a stop sign it just died and hasn't turned on since. So I'll just time everything up and buy a new belt to make sure everything is in order. If you have any experience with what I just described about the car, please input.

After that, I'll be putting the y8 intake manifold onto the engine. I've seen countless videos and read so many articles on this so I'm good, but what is a good throttle body for this? I'm hoping to turbo the D16 soon so any help would be appreciated.

Please don't give me crap about using an ebay turbo kit, I'm a college student looking to have fun building a civic. Help is much appreciated. Anyone have any experience with this kit?

I know the rods on a D16 start to crap out at 200-220 HP, any good rods I should invest in? I'm wanting to stay in the 190-210 HP range, but more torque is fun! I know I'll probably have to install new fuel pump, fuel injectors and maybe fuel rail. New ECU to tune
