Default 97 Civic/jdm b18c - Will 98+ jdm itr header bolt right up?

I have a 97 honda civic with a jdm b18c. I just bought a 98+ jdm itr header.... Will it bolt right up to my catalytic converter?

I currently have a ebay 4-1 header now. What size are most ebay headers?

you will need to mod your exhaust as the jdm header has a 2 1/2" outlet

i don't like test pipes because they usually end up making your exhaust sound, and smell like crap, but hey, it's your car

I'd hate for you to remove harmful gasses from your exhaust at the expense of a few horse power.

Edit: Since you got such a good deal on the header. Sell it for a profit, then get a good hytech header or something and get an exhaust made for your car. OEM replacement catalytic converters are like $70. You'd get a much better exhaust setup with a non-oem header and an aftermarket cat and still be legal and not as harmful to the air. I used to live in Tolleson, I know how bad the air can be in the valley.

People have been telling me why waste money on a big bore header when my motor is stock.....

I got the price down on that jdm cat to 109. Might pick that up.

People are retarded. An ITR motor would benefit massively from a large collector from a hytech header or otherwise.

a hytech knock off will do fine on your motor or maybe a RMF knock off

My car is too low for a hytech or rmf, I would smash it to pieces. I need a header that is barely lower then the oilpan. Later on i will upgrade to something nice that doesn't hang too low and can keep my ps and ac. Like a bisimoto.

i hate test pipes

- they make the exhaust loud
- smelly exhaust
- lot's of popping on downshifts and deceleration
