97 civic ex\ hyundai
whats up
there is this street where i live which is very long and straight about 5 miles long and smooth , there is one traffic light just to start off and the rest are all factories on the left and trees on the right, so there aren't blocks or alley way's... except for this one thats excactly 1/4 mile... no cops too... anyways to make the story short i raced this kid 2 weeks ago 1989 Hyundai Excell automatic... completly spanked him he probably did 18 on a 1/4 mile... i had a slipped clutch nothing done to my car and my friends calculated probably 16.7 on the dot...... so know he wants to bet me 20 dollars and talks so much trash...... i have a 97 civic ex in stick , just put a stage 1 clutch and open box intake to get a couple horses... he went to this place in harrison nj called East Coast... he put a AEM INTAKE... and know wants to race.... who would win? the civic or hyundai??

Re: 97 civic ex\ hyundai (MortalistiCivic)
I used to own an 88 Excel, and I would get whooped by just about anything with wheels on it. I couldn't see a new intake system making so much of a difference on a excel, that it could beat a civic. Excels are powerless heeds unreliable junk, in my opinion.
