Ok I was looking @ the thread about engine swaps but I need to know what would be a direct or close to direct fit onto a 97 2dr civic ex. Im verry new at this so please dont yell at me : )

another close or direct fit would be the D series engine you alrdy have in your car. and u can basically put a any engine inside ur car all you need is the right motor mounts

Why would he want to swap the same engine for engine? I thought the MAIN purpose for Honda swaps was to upgrade engines?
But yes, pretty much anything will fit, with money and fabrication. Anything from a D, to a B, to an F and H, to the K series. Its all on what your goals are. Track, street, strip, auto-x.

Well thanks for the help. Um do u have links for engine mounts..? and it will be used alot on the local drag. but my friends do the street racing thing but they all have stangs and maximas somethin that would keep up but I only have about $2,000 for the engine : (
