Default 96 HB - Power Door Locks not Working

I have a 1996 civic hatchback DX with 99 SI doors. Everything is connected using 96 floor and door harnesses. I also have the power lock control unit connected ( blue box). Everything else works fine, but how come the power locks doesnt work?

dumb question.. did you check fuses, or spots where there are supposed to be fuses for the power locks?

it is a tech forum, but when you get everything together, and you're so excited to try things out.. you seem to forget about those tiny blade fuses which could cause such a headache.

that does not necessarily make it a dumb question. simple problems that sometimes just require a different point of view are just as noteworthy as an engine swap. tech is tech. no need to bash on the dude because he may have overlooked something.

you called his question dumb. i'd say you're bashing. in any case, nice diagram. my power door lock on the driver's side doesn't work either. although, it only doesnt lock when the door is open. point is, i'd like to read more about this thread and if the OP gets it fixed.

I called my question dumb.. not his. If you are really adamant about figuring out your problem I have the entire 96-00 Shop manual in PDF form, if you're interested and have AIM I can send it along(only about 70MB)

That's normal. Try pulling the door lever on the inside and locking it. I think its to prevent locking yourself out lol

I tried manually powering the power lock switch from the battery and it doesn't work. Any other solutions?

99 SI Doors
