96 hatch stock iddle gets very low oil ligh flashes
I got a this 96 ek completly stock beside radio , has 175k on the clock its an automatic
So in the morning it starts up fine iddle perfect, FITV( fast iddle thermo valve ) comes on when it needs to be warm , so after iam drive for a period of 20 miles or more and iam sitting at a light with the trans in d
The iddle drops very low 300 to 200 rpm and the oil light comes on ill need to compensate to 800+ for them dam light to go away .
The funny thing is that it iddles perfect when iam sitting at a light before the 20 ( before it gets to a real wamrp up temperatures ) miles comute to work

Do what HondaPartsHero suggested. Also replace the PCV valve.
Your engine does not have an FITV. The IACV controls the idle speed of your engine.
This is all expected. When the engine speed drops very low so does the oil pressure. When the engine is cold, the ECU ramps up the idle speed, so that's why the cold engine doesn't have an idle speed problem.
Your engine should warm up long before driving 20 miles. You probably should replace the thermostat.
