96 dx, wanna swap 95 gsr; worth it???
i have a 96 4 door dx.i know it wont pass bar and everything. but i had a couple of questions.
what are gsr's going for? i mean, block, head, ecu, harness, axles, tranny, everything.
the shop i wanna get it from will give me the whole front clip from a jdm integra GSR for $3500.00
next, i have obd 2, the gsr is obd1, should i try to find an obd2 engine instead???
thanks in advance for any pertinent responses.
ps, yes i'm a newbie, but ive got the tools, and are mechanically inclined so i'm planning on doing the swap myself

look at http://www.hmotorsonline.com for swap prices.
Unless you have to worry about emissions, you should just convert to obd1.

WERD:
But if you do get the clip complete you can sell off some parts too. And again. If there's no worries about emissions. OBD1 all the way. Much wider area for tuning = tuner friendly.

Re: 96 dx, wanna swap 95 gsr; worth it??? (97_hatch)
SWEET. anyways as far emissions concern. i'm planning on putting the most silent muffler i can find so i dont get pulled over for the engine.
next, come registration time for me, i'm planning on swapping the d16y7 back in. take test, then swap the b18 back.
so if this was our own car and situation $3500 for a whole complete front clip is well worth it? aside from that, the owner is giving me the necessary hasport engine mounts.
