Default 96 Del Sol gas pedal replacement (solved)

I bought a set of Mugen Pedals for my Del Sol, having slipping issues when my feet are wet. So far the brake and clutch went on perfectly, but I can't seem to get the gas one on. People have told me to remove the rubber outer case but it seems to be plastic, and stuck on. Will attach pictures to help.

Sorry lol, I guess it didn't go through.

I just got the mounting brackets to tighten enough by putting them on loosely and sliding it onto the pedal before tightening them down.

Having issues with the mobile version of the forum.

They definitely feel awesome compared to the stock pads though.
