96 civic dx engine replacement
Hey guys. I've been looking at replacing the tired y7 in my daily. After searching the various jdm engine sites I've come up with the d15b non vtec and the d16a/zc non vtec as listed for the 96-00 civic. My question is which is correct? Which would be better? The d15 appears to come with the same vertical intake as the y7 while the zc d16a is the horizontal layout. I've been looking around and it appears most use the d15 as their replacement. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I can't really find any specs on the d16a. Does anyone know the hp rating or anything like that? I see the d15b is 103-106 depending on the site you look at
