Re: 96-98 Type R Lip (MrCivic98)
yes those both are called typeR lips
the one above this is the 96-98(ek4) typeR lip....
the one you posted at the top is the 99-2000(ek9) typeR lip....which is basically an SI LIP but more agressive
you notice the difference in design...one covers part of the bottom of the bumper and has more sharper blocky design...
one at top is more curvy and covers less of bottom of the bumper
but i think you getting it

Re: (Boosted96EK)
The SiR lip is also known as the OEM lip and was (and still can be) purchased from some dealers for 1996-’98 Civics. That's what I have on my car (black and unpainted).

The "real" CTR front lip goes up higher and fits better. Like this one that was posted:
The "copycat" CTR lips are like that one you posted, it barely fits over the bottom of your 96-98 front bumper. I bought one from TornActive, which gets their stuff from ABSDynamics. It fit poorly, and cracked when I started to drill into it to mount to my bumper. I should have gone with the real deal CTR, urethane lip in the first place...it might cost more now, but after replacing 2 ABS lips + shipping, the real CTR lip was a bargain! AND IT FITS PERFECTLY!

Sorry about the lip. We no longer sell from ABS Dynamics as there quality went downhill in the passing months. We now have anew supplier and they fit great!
PS
Nice mirrors:

Wrong. I've had both in my possession.

The lip that you have in the picture its the what so call Type R Style, its more like an replica Integra Type R style lip but for a civic. There are actual Civic type R replica lip available in the market.
