Re: 96-97 Del Sol Fog Lights (Got2HaveSol)
If you would have searched I have a post explaing a lot about the different model years for example and they were discontinued in the 96-97 model years you have to get some after market ones and make them work. OR get the 93-95 style bumper and fog lamps and wire them up Im not sure if the 96-97 has the mounting points for them or not on the frame either.
Now if you remove the bumper you'll see some outlines on it on the lower portion that you can cut out for some civic ones to go but I dont know that for a verifiable fact because it wasent standard on the del sols. It just looked like that is what it was for to me.

Re: 96-97 Del Sol Fog Lights (Got2HaveSol)
I did search and i know i can make some fit i was just wondering if the had an actual fog light for the 96-97. Im not a fan of the 93-95 aux lights so i deff wont be changing over to that bumper. I like the smooth look of the 96-97 bumper and the larger mouth. I will just have to make something fit. Thanks for the help though.

In that case get some pia's and mount them in the mouth if thats the look your going for, it was pretty easy when I did them for someone on there civic. Install was a breeze including the wiring.
I dont know if the 96-97 even has the wiring there for the fog lamps even tho its not ussed. Since its the same time they switched to a obda wiring its a maybe. I dident see it on my 97 del sol wiring guide lets put it that way. If you want to check that would be cool to, I can add it to the thread I have.
If go the pia or misc other way I would mount them to the bumper suport itself behind the bumper so you would have to take it off and cut out the "screen" to let them site right in there. that way there protected somewhat from botteming out and most road obstructions, not to mention there mounted in there firmly and secure. you could also take off the bumper and look for those marked areas that I mentioned before and see how they would fit behind there and get some stock civic ones that go right in them. I forget the model year they came from but theres a trim piece that goes right in the bumper that holds them and looks pretty nice IMO.
Anything else I Can help you with just ask.
