Yeah all three of those pieces are structural pieces that go under the rear seat. I suggest you put those back in because when i was playing with mine they seemed to look as though they prevent the car from collapsing during a side impact.

Its the mid car crash beam. It goes under the rear seat, at the front of it. That thing weighs a ton too.

Just throw it away. They didn't even come in the 96-97 Civics.

Just throw it away. They didn't even come in the 96-97 Civics.

i think it was 96 only that didnt come with them.. my 96 doesnt have it and my friends 97 does. the first time i saw it i was like what the hell is that?
but i think they do help with the structure of the car. helps reduce flex. sort of like what a floor bar does.
not exactly a good pic but..
my friend put this bar in his hatch and said he didnt feel much of a difference since his car(97) already had that reinforcement brace from the factory. but then other guys swear by it. who knows.. but i would feel better if my car came with one. i say put it back in.
