96-00 Maintenance Schedule

Re: 96-00 Maintenance Schedule (Chris y0!)
Unless you drive like a grandma and shift at 2500 rpm, it's advisable to follow the maintenance schedule for severe conditions.
I doubt replacing oil filter every 15,000 miles would save enough money to pay for the new engine.

blah, i'm bored, just wondering if people actually follows honda's maintenance schedule. 7500 seems a long time in between oil changes and 15000 for filters? whats your maintenance schedule for your car(s)?

depends on what engine.
SOHCs don't deserve any love. give it oil when it burns it all. change the filter when it falls off.
treat your DOHC swaps with respect. 2500 mile mobil 1 oil/filter treatment.
