Re: (cdownin)
Honestly, its different. I didnt want to take the risk of getting shitty trailing arms and when I thought about it it was a wash. With the money you spend on a disc brake trailing arm swap (with new rotors, pads, hoses and cables) verse this bracket its just a plain wash.

Heh!
Maybe this is the reason...
http://stores.ebay.com/Scarebi...rakes
BTW, the price is $85 plus $14 shipping worldwide.

If I remember right the 2/3 door share the same prop valve/brake booster as the Si, but not the master cylinder. The 4 door does not have the correct prop valve or master cylinder as the Si, but the brake booster is correct. Hope that helps, if not check out slhondaparts.com to cross reference the part numbers for yourself. As for your other question (do you use the same hub? and if so how did you secure the rotor to the hub?). Yes, reuse the stock hub. The rotor will be held in place by the caliper and wheel.

hey guys so im pretty much new to this so i have no idea how to use it. but i have a question about suspensions, so i want to lower my 98 hatch but im on kind of a budget and i found one on jdmboys website for 100 dollars with springs and adjustable perches to adjust the height with and it just takes the stock shocks and stock struts. soo i was wondering if anyone can help to tell me if this would be a good buy or will it just ruin my shocks and i should keep looking.
please message back, im dying to know!
thank you

FYI, Mark (Scarebird) still has these available. I am ordering a set for my '97 DX Hatchback on Tuesday. Will use new Si calipers, pads, and rotor along with a Si master cylinder. This will be so much nicer than digging through snow filled junk yards right now.

hey cerealwars, maybe you should edit your first post saying that scarebird still sells the kit on his EBAY store. Its not on his personal website but it is on his ebay page.

i have 98 EX civic. I have two questions. where did you get the new set of disks, OEM si or teg...? (does not say in your write up). Second, is it possible for you to post the three pictures you have missing or is that to far gone? marvelous how-to. very impressive.
