95 obd1 LS to 94 civic
ok, I searched and went around the net to try and find something finally posting here out of despair........
I have a 95 LS engine and the original uncut wiring harness hooked everything up to my 94 civic and tried to start. It coughs and wants to start but never quite does, I asked a few freinds and they werent sure finally called up a local yard and they said that I have too move some wires around, but I cannot find what wires I have to swap.
As I said before i've searched on here and found a few places but non that have the LS swap lots of GSR and vtech swaps. Any help would be awesome
Thanks

Re: 95 obd1 LS to 94 civic (icemyst01)
You're going to have to give us more information before we can help you. What kind of 94 civic do you have(cx, vx, ex, si, dx, lx, etc...)? Did you do the complete LS swap(b-series mounts, shift-linkage, rear bracket, b-series tranny, ECU, etc...)? The way you worded some things sounds weird. Did you make sure to hook up all the sensors, grounds, etc...? Is the timing set right? Do you know if the motor you're using runs?
The sooner you answer some of these questions the sooner we can help. There usually is a lot of LS swap questions so I'm surprised your search didn't turn out with more of them.

Re: 95 obd1 LS to 94 civic (92_VX_EG)
yea, I feel like an *** I looked around for about 2 days didnt find ****.... post this and found a site on another post with what i needed. b18b1 is a direct bolt in minus the things listed above, harness you connect up and runs like a charm the last 2 days my problem was that it was flooded, unflood the thing and it purr'd like a kitten.
I gotta say that this site kicks *** did my swap knowing nothing about hondas (built mustangs and chevys before) and got it done after a nub mistake.

Glad to hear you cleared things up. Good luck with your Honda and I hope you continue to enjoy your swapped civic.
