95 del sol antifreeze leak, impossible to find
So everyonce in awhile il be driving antifreeze will blow everywhere under the hood, and I have no idea where it's from, it's dripping down the engine and tranny case line, where they connect, we've cleaned everything off and let it run and we watch but nothing... But what I found out tonight is that it's only happened when I had the temp switched to cold, because I drove around today with the temp on hot and nothing, no drips, runs perfect! So I'm guessing that when I switch to cold it's stop the flow into the heater core and it backs up and where that hose goes back to looks like where the leak is coming from if I were to guess, it's the hose that goes into the head right under the dizzy. But when the temp is on warm it allows the coolent to flow though the heater core and cycle properly.
Could it really be that simple?
Thanks for help!

Re: 95 del sol antifreeze leak, impossible to find
So I made another discovery tonight, I thought about when I changed my IM from the b7 to the z6 to make more power and when I did I had to do some changing around with the antifreeze lines, so I'm guessing that on that old IM there was a return line for when I had the thermastat to cold, and it backs up and just blows coolant everywhere, because tonight I drove around did about 75 miles with no problems and not the slightest drip and I had the thermostat on hot. I deff think there is a connection, and a pressure test wouldn't find a thing if the thermostat was on hot.
That sound about right?
