95 Dash swap
OK I am new here so,I did try to search and I must not understand how to use the serch right so here we go I just got my first eg and its a 95 white with blue interior.buddy has a black dash so my problem is the other dash doesnt have a passager airbag so i was wondering if there was a way to bypass the 95 srs computer so the light doesnt stay on or do i need different wire harness or srs computer

I am just going to throw out a guess from what I have read, but this figure may not be exact for your car. I have read that if you want to bypass the Passenger air bag, you put a 2 ohm resistor in the dash harness connector where the air bag would normally go.
If you are going to keep your air bag or try to sell it, you need to make a jumper wire to short out the two pins on the connector on the air bag, just a little static electricity could set it off. While working around the air bag, dont put your face too close to the front area of the air bag exit panel. Disconnect the battery if you dont have a security type radio that requires a code to reset it, unless you have the code, then unhook the battery for sure.

its already apart i am ready to put it back together just look for some way to either bypass the srs ecu so the light isnt on.So get a 2ohm resistior and basicly jump the connector? ill try it so the resistior acts as the air bag sound like it could work
