95 civic swap
i was wondering how hard it is to put a gsr motor into a 95 civic coupe. i am mechanically inclined. i know how to do quite a few things but never did a motor swap. i just wanted to know if it is difficult. the only problem i see myself having is the wiring. also i was thinking about getting the swap from hmotorsonline.com does anybody know anything about them. thanks for your suggestions

Re: 95 civic swap (2fast4jdm)
my friend got his type-r from hmotors, hes had it for over a year, still runs strong . as far as a GSR swap in a 95 civic, i infact just finished mine a week ago, its a relatively easy swap for a civic, just make sure you have everything you need and the right tools and it shouldnt take you more than a day or 2. and for the wiring, just get the wiring diagram for the civic, and the integra gsr, compare the 2 and do whats necissary to convert it. good luck

Re: 95 civic swap (komat)
hmotors is a good place, the swap is pretty much straight forward, you might need to get a jumper harness to convert to obd1, it will make things much easier. Also its an EXCELLENT learning experience, just take your time and do things correctly and you'll be good to go, also make sure you get a helms for torque specs et cetera.
