swapped a jdm d15b into the 95 civic eg sedan

im assuming..
1.battery on car
2.altenator..
3. starter
4. distrub
also when i keep cranking smoke was coming out of the ecu
so i stoped cranking it and left it
its been in the garage for a month now and i wanan get it fixed

what harness did you use? Sounds like maybe you tried using the stock JDM harness and some of the wires were crossed and fried something. If not please give more of a detailed description.

Hmmm may want to go back and make sure you did all the wiring correctly. Sounds like you have a power and ground wire wired up incorrectly. Other then that I dont know bro sorry.

I wouldnt buy anything until you figure out what is bad. Could just be wasting money. On the ground though I would probably use 8 or 10 gauge wire to ground everything.

why did you have to wire vtec if you had an ex? was there a point in swapping basically the same motor into the car? im assuming it has high miles or something....sorry just wondering

Re: (labatia)
weird...i dont think ur main relays suppose to fry like that dude...something in your wiring is definatly wrong...just take the time to rerun everything...and the rewiring for VTEC is a good question...
