Default 95 civic with GSR gauge cluster fitment issue (searched)

Ok i just got this hatchback a few weeks ago for my turbo 94 accord.Once i got the car it has alot of little issues that have been taken care of but this one i cannot put a finger on, i have searched and cannot find an answer. The original gauge cluster was taken out and a gsr one put in, but the fitment is not like a factory cluster for the car would be.I bought a used cluster for the hatch but it has not come in yet and i like the GSR it is just the fitment is not perfect like factory.I was wondering if anyone had a DIY site or any input on what i can do to get it to fit correctly. Also the wire harness has been spliced and soldered into so it is gonna be hard to put the factory one in once i get it.

This one here you can really see it.

Yup Yup, the fitment will NEVER fit if you are using the GSR trim, maybe you can make a custom one with the original trim ....I saw people swap the 98 Si gauge face to 92 civic stock cluster...and I saw one GSR one with the fxxk up fitment :D correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm trying to do that too....

You can custom make a bezel. Then take plexiglass and make a custom cover. It has been done and looked great.
