94 del sol/B18c swap - White smoke coming from the oil fill cap
okay my motor is smoking. it dont start smoking right away but when the engine gets hot and i step on the gas it starts to smoke from the oil cap.(the color of the smoke is white). my breather i have for the motor is full of oil and it also smokes out alot. i opened my oil filler cap and the bottom of it was kinda white and gooey. my engine is running a little rough i can tell because it shakes alot.( it shouldnt be shaking alot right?) my motor is running rich i can smell the gas.(is that because of the o2 censor?) Please gimme some answers. first tell me wat can be wrong first then 2nd then so on... lol thanks

it looks like u could have somewhere leaking, exhaust or intake may be leaking. u have white gooey in the valve cover? it is possible coolant leaking and mixed with oil to become white and gooey.

wat would be wrong if the coolant was leaking into there? i havent looked under the valve cover yet.

o yeah one more thing i forgot to mention. my motor dies on me too.. like if im just driving it wont die but if i let it sit on one spot and i rev it up then it will die, and when my car is just sitting there and the motor is on it sometimes die it seems like it doesnt have any power.

Smoke in valve cover...coolant leaking onto manifold... heeeeaaddd gaaasskketttt.
