Default 94 coupe, gsr rear disc conversion, don't trip I checked before I posted

I got a simple question, I have searched and the info is somewhat conflicting, first of all, I have read that 92-95 civic si e brake cables will work with this swap which is fine with me, I own a 94 civic si (canadian si) with rear drums, does this matter? also on the various threads where it states si cables will work does that mean si like civic ex? or 99-00si, or sir in canada?

thank you, that's what I thought, too bad I thought I would be able to get away with the ones I have, so does this mean some 92-95 civs had factory discs besides jdm ones? I've never seen one that came stock. The local wrecker in town here cuts all the cables to remove the trailing arms so basically all of them are fucked and I checked every single one...

I used the integra cables that came with mine and they didnt fit correctly. I could not route the lines like the oem cables, they were too short.

So I ordered new parking brake cables for a 94 coupe ex w/abs (abs models came with 4 wheel disc). The lines fit perfectly and looks like it came that way from the factory.

you can also get the cables off a 92-95 honda civic si hatchback (US Version)

and yes the 92-95 civic si came stock w/ rear discs along w/ the the civic models that abs brakes..

But will they be long enough for a coupe? The '92-95 hatchback has a shorter wheelbase than the '92-95 coupe . . .

I'd go for the e-brake cables from an EX sedan, or from an EX coupe with ABS. Err, Si coupe in Canada . . .

Thats funny I used to live in Canada and a few of my friends had SI hatches, all of their cars had rear discs. I dont think I've ever seen one without rear discs.

All EH3 hatchbacks had factory rear discs. EJ1 coupes had drums in the rear, except for ABS models which had rear discs.

The original poster has a non-ABS EJ1 coupe, which was designated as an "Si" in Canada.
