Hello. Looked around found no solution. I have a 94 coupe. With b20b just did tune up, water pump and timing belt. Car drove like a champ. Decided to buy Tre performance injectors. 550cc will be going turbo soon. That's y I got those. Running Na right now and under full throttle I will get a. Backfire out my intake mani. Now. Being a tech myself I said timing. I have redid and checked my timing 4 times. I know that its correct. Bought a pressure regulator because I am running 78-80 psi fuel pressure.. to much could that be the problem if not like to hear your thoughts. Thanks. Oh and my ecu is chipped. But for oem injectors not 550cc.

Boy. You answered your own question. Put the original injectors back in.

at 78-80 psi it doesnt necessarily mean that your dumping tons of fuel into the car .... http://www.hondata.com/techfuelpump.html .....read that should shed some light on it but right now if you have a stock b20 with only a tune for stock 240 cc injectors but your now running 550cc that is your problem as stated above.

Thanks that chart really helpped out. Jus gonna get my turbo headers and slap on my kit and take it to dyno. Will post what happens when I get the fpr in. Ordered it jus hasn't got here yet. Thanks for the help.

you call yourself a tech and then drop in larger injectors, raise fuel pressure to 80 then come on here and ask why you have problems.



Sounds like you dont know what your doing. Step away from the car! let someone who knows what they are doing work on it before you do damage that cant be reversed.
