There is no cel codes light isn't on idle is normal and everything it was doing something like this when I replaced the fuel pump main relay and it was fine til a week or so ago

After it starts and then stalls, don't touch the key. Watch if the oil and battery lights come on like they should any time the key is on but engine is not turning. If they aren't on but you can jiggle the key to make them come on, ignition switch is bad.

Fuel pump was going bad and would work sometimes and the main relay was replaced cause it was not start sometimes after I drove it took the relay out and it was burnt up in some places. Sorry tool me so long I work second shift and don't get off til 230am

OK so just got home and got in the car went to crank it and started then died didn't touch the key and only thing that stayed on was the radio

You just need to remove the plastic "clamshell" covers on the steering column and the switch is right there. Two small screws hold it on to the back of the key cylinder. You do not need to mess with the key or the locking mechanism itself. The wires from the switch go down under the dash and plug in to the fuse box and maybe something else. As with any electrical work, disconnect battery first. That is especially important here to be sure the air bag does not go off by accident.
