My coolant keeps pushing back into reservoir I replaced water pump and did the timing belt and put vms adjustable cam gear on since I was in there already but I'm starting to wonder if There is a leak in the head I heard that can reverse the way the coolant flows any idea's? There's no coolant in the oil or vice versa either.

Engine completely cold, remove the radiator cap and top up if necessary. Start the engine with the cap off and rev it. If you see lots of bubbles or coolant blowing out of the radiator, there is a leak in the engine. What you describe of having the coolant displaced into the reservoir until there is a bubble in the engine and overheating results, is usually the only symptom of a small leak.
